The Maple Creek girls captured the silver medal in the SHSAA provincial curling championships March 10 in Ituna. The girls finished the round robin with a record of 2-1. The SWAC senior curling championships were held in Fox Valley on Feb 9 and 10. The Maple Creek team captured the A side of the mixed category. The B side was won by Hodgeville (team Sauder).
