Provincial Medalists

The Maple Creek girls captured the silver medal in the SHSAA provincial curling championships March 10 in Ituna.  The girls finished the round robin with a record of 2-1.  They defeated Moosomin in the semi final but lost to Lemberg in the final.  L to R: coach Holly Jamieson, skip Morgan Robinson, 3rd Sydney Windjack, 2nd Rayel Jamieson and lead Madison Glascock. 

Regional Champs - Girls

The Maple Creek girls captured the SHSAA regional curling championship in Moose Jaw on March 3.  The girls defeated Gull Lake in the A-B final.  They will now advance to provincials in Ituna on March 9 & 10.  L to R: coach Holly Jamieson, skip Morgan Robinson, 3rd Sydney Windjack, 2nd Rayel Jamieson and lead Madison Glascock.

Sr. Mixed Champ 2017-18

Maple Creek

The SWAC senior curling championships were held in Fox Valley on Feb 9 and 10.  The Maple Creek team captured the A side of the mixed category.  The B side was won by Hodgeville (team Sauder).  Both teams will now advance to SHSAA regionals in Assiniboia on March 2 and 3. L to R coach Jocelyn Wilson, skip Janae Wilson, 3rd Luke Jamieson, 2nd Ashley Kramer, lead Zackary Guckert.

Swift Current

The SWAC senior curling championships were held in Fox Valley on Feb 9 and 10.  The Swift Current Comp team captured the A side of the boys category.  The B side was won by Ponteix (team Kendall).  Both teams will now advance to SHSAA regionals in Moose Jaw on March 2 and 3.  L to R: skip Theo Lautsch, 3rd Grady Rogers, 2nd Tanner Ewert, lead Michael Orthner, coach Ron Bailey. 

Jr. Girls Champions

The Maple Creek team captured the junior girls curling championship on March 3 in their home rink.  The girls beat Shaunavon twice in the A-B final.  L to R: Coach Kylie Parsonage, skip Cassidy Gordon, 3rd Emma Arndt, 2nd Grace Ungrin and lead Louise Parsonage.

Jr. Boys Champions

The Swift Current Comp captured the junior boys curling championship on March 3 in Maple Creek.  The boys beat Frontier in the A-B final.  L to R: Coach Mark Tollefson, skip Beau Cornelson, 3rd Dusty Cherpin, 2nd Carson Funk and lead Zander Rommelaere.

Jr. Open Champions

The Val Marie team captured the junior open curling championship on March 3 in Maple Creek.  The team beat Shaunavon in the A-B final.  L to R: Coach Blaine Clement, coach Alex Waldner, 3rd Makenna Legault, 2nd Ashlee Waldner and lead Katherine Andreas.
