SHSAA Rule Book/Scoresheet Orders

The SHSAA maintains a rulebook order service for schools that wish to use it. The SHSAA does not order extra rulebooks to have on hand. If you require rulebooks you must order them.

Sanctioned Tournaments

A complete, up-to-date listing of tournaments involving out-of-province teams or hosted by out-of-province schools that have been approved by the SHSAA are listed here. A reminder that the onus is on the teams attending the tournament to check that the tournament they attend is approved by the SHSAA. The onus is on the host school to apply for written sanction, if necessary.

Tournaments conducted within the province with only participating teams from Saskatchewan do not require written sanction. The sanction is assumed when all participating schools are from Saskatchewan as all schools are aware of the rules and expectations set forward by the SHSAA.

SHSAA HISTORY BOOK
The long-awaited SHSAA History Book Fifty Years of Athletics in Education: A History of the Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association, is now available.

The following quote from the book written by Dr. Garry Andrews may best explain the history book. "This book is not about statistics, although you will find them scattered throughout as well as in the appendices; it is about people. It is about the times in which they lived and about how their lives touched or were touched by the SHSAA as the organization sought to fulfill its pledge to provide "education through sport."

Cost of the history book is $20.00 plus $3.00 shipping and handling. Total cost $23.00. The book can be ordered by contacting the SHSAA Office.

Save the $3.00 shipping and handling cost by picking up the book at the SHSAA Office in Regina or the Saskatoon Secondary Schools Athletic Directorate (SSSAD) Office in Saskatoon.
