• The QVDA Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 7th at the Town Hall and Opera House in Wolseley. Supper will be served at 5:30 with the Annual General Meeting to follow. Award recipients from last year will be recognized, bids to host decided and the QVDA executive elected. SHSAA will be in attendance to hand out school packages for the year and at least one delegate from each school needs to attend. 

• I have attached the 2022-23 Championship hosts document, which highlights all of the Championships that need hosts for this year and a couple for next year as well. Please talk to your coaches and staff to gauge interest and encourage the rewarding experience of hosting an event within your school. Bid to host forms aren’t required to be sent in advance but must be filled out to submit at the meeting. Hosts are required for the following sports:
  • Central Zone commissioner for Cross Country
  • SR Curling
  • SR Badminton Zones – 4 different Hosts
  • SR Badminton Districts
  • JR Grass Golf West
  • JR Boys and Girls Volleyball
  • JR Curling
  • JR Badminton Zones – 4 different Hosts
  • JR Badminton Districts

  Please RSVP to trevor.viergutz@pvsd.ca by Friday, September 2nd and state the number of delegates that will be attending from your school. This information is important so we can provide the caterer with an accurate number of people for supper.
