TIE BREAKING PROCEDURE: 
         

THE FOLLOWING WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR BOTH THE REGIONAL AND THE PROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT SHOULD IDENTICAL WIN/LOSS RECORDS OCCUR: 
 

                        Consider matches won/lost first, then use the tie-breaking procedure. 
 

            TWO TEAMS TIED – The team that won the match between the two teams involved in the tie.

            THREE OR MORE TEAMS TIED – 

1)     Match won/lost ratio

2)     Games won/lost ratio (using all matches in the round robin)

3)     Total points for/against ratio (using all matches in the round robin)

a.     If this still leaves two players/pairs tied, then the match between them is used to determine the next two placings.

b.     If three or more players/pairs are still tied after the above three criteria are applied, the ranking will be established by drawing lots.
