The Boys Volleyball Team from Minahik Waskahigan School in Pinehouse Lake received the Sportsmanship Award at a school assembly on January 29.  The gathering of students, staff, administration, parents, community members, and mayor appreciated some thoughtful words from principal, Curtis Chandler, as he reflected on the team's season and the significance of being recognized.  The SHSAA was proud to present the school's first Sportsmanship Banner to coach, Kelly Kwan, and the student-athletes. The assembly finished with a friendly volleyball game between the students and the staff/community.
