Respect in Sport

Respect In Sport

Effective the 2013 -2014 school year all coaches and assistant coaches, (both faculty and non-faculty) at all levels of school sport (Bantam, Junior, and Senior) administered by the SHSAA and/or District Associations, will be required to complete the on-line training 'Respect In Sport' offered through Sask Sport.

This course will take approximately 3 hours to complete and may be completed in a series of sessions with the program remembering each time where the course was last accessed.  Initial access to the course can be gained through http://www.sasksport.sk.ca/RiS/.

When registering please be sure to select the Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association from the list of Associations you are coaching with.

Equivalent courses that are recognized in replacement of 'Respect in Sport' include NCCP 'Empower+', Hockey Canada 'Speak Out' (those courses completed after 2005), and 'Respect in Schools'.

Upon completion of the course you will be provided with a registration number and an opportunity to print a certificate of completion.  Thank you for completing the course
