The remaining bids to host for the 2015-16 school year are for Regional Basketball. 5A teams interested in hosting the 5A Regional tournament are to submit their bid to the SHSAA office by January 22, 2016. The Executive Council will name the host sites following their meeting January 24 - 25, 2016. Schools in the 1A - 4A classifications are asked to submit their interest in hosting by January 31, 2016. Host sites for the 1A - 4A championships will be named on March 7, 2016
A number of championships for the 2016-17 school year have been declared open. The Executive Council has requested that bids to host for these championships be submitted to the SHSAA office by April 8, 2016. The championships that have been declared open are:
