From:  Drew Hanson, Program Manager of the CIAAA (Canadian Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association).

For those less familiar, we are a professional association whose purpose is to play an important role in the school sport system by providing a wide range of supports for Athletic Directors. Who better to provide input on how that should look but Athletic Directors themselves!

Please take 5-10 minutes to fill out our new survey - How can we Serve You? This is a crucial time as I develop my vision and priorities for our organization.

A couple other things...

As Athletic Directors in Saskatchewan, your school has prepaid your annual membership in the CIAAA. There will be a growing number of benefits through the 2017-18 school year, so I urge you to join (remember, it's free to you!). To get your activation code, please email me at

Our National Athletic Directors Conference is coming in Regina, April 19-21, 2018. These conferences are fantastic for AD-focused professional development, networking, and they are just a bit of fun too! We are sending out the conference information package and opening online registration by October 6. Anyone on our newsletter list will receive this update as soon as it comes out. If you aren't on the newsletter list, just activate your membership and you will be! Or, you can always check out for the latest.

Can any current students in the Grace College Masters' in Athletic Administration Program please contact me to let me know you are in the program? Grace will not share any of that information but knowing who is in the program is incredibly helpful in planning our year and content offerings to ensure you have access to the LTP courses you need. Just send me an email and I can start to consider your needs in scheduling.
